Basic but Clean Facilities

Simple, well-maintained toilets, hot showers, and a washing-up area. Everything you need for a comfortable and easy stay. Cleanliness and practicality come as standard.

The proximity of the site very central to all activities , the owner very friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble even brought me a curry to try . Never used the facilities I.e toilets and showers but looked sufficient enough and clean

The staff were brilliant—very helpful and accommodating. On our first night, we forgot to bring cash for logs, and they kindly let us pay the next day. The grounds were well kept, and the pitch was great for our tent. Only 10 minutes from Aldi, with the best fish and chips we’ve ever had right next to it. They were very friendly, especially the son. Competitive pricing and open earlier in the year than other campsites. We stayed in April, outside of school holidays, and it was really quiet. The donkey sanctuary all around the site was a lovely touch.

The location was amazing—so much to do! Caves, Go Ape, shops, and lovely walks.

The place was stunning, and the price was good. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Looking forward to coming back!

Nice little campsite in the peak district with no frills. Good shower and toilet facilities. Added bonus of donkeys in the adjacent field 😂 great communication with owner but generally left to crack on. Would absolutely visit again. Cracking place for a very good price.

Second time here 2 years later and still a lovely, simple site. Stay here for a simple, inexpensive holiday and does not disappoint. Fairly quiet (outside of holidays at least) and facilities basic but kept relatively clean. Little interaction with the owner but very friendly when called on arrival. The pub next door and ice cream from the dairy down the road just make it ideal! Can sometimes hear the donkeys but love camping next to them and seeing them each day, will definitely be back!

We had a fabulous time at this site. It was quiet and the owner was very helpful. We liked that he drove around to check on everyone in the afternoon, which made the site feel secure.

The pub next door is a great bonus, and the toilet and shower block is just right—nothing fancy, but exactly as expected. Our toddler LOVED having the donkey sanctuary next door and watching them over the fence. Plenty of space to run around. A very pleasant night overall!

Terms & Condition

To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay at Greystones Nawab, we ask guests to respect quiet hours from 10pm to 9am. Fires must be off the ground in raised fire pits, never left unattended, and fully extinguished at night. Children must be supervised at all times, especially near animals and shared areas. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead, supervised, and not left alone. Please clean up after your pets. Call at least one hour before arrival so we can assist with check-in. Thank you for helping us maintain a peaceful and friendly environment.Please note that we do not accept cancellations or offer refunds. Showers and toilets are available only in the on-site shower block, located approximately 20 yards from the caravans. Shower, toilet, and gas facilities have been removed from the caravans due to repeated damage and misuse by a minority of guests.
